Pakistani suits are one of the most searched-for clothing categories among South Asian families abroad, for Eid, weddings and everyday wear. Buying them online is easy once you know two things: whether a suit is stitched or unstitched, and which fabric suits the season.
Unstitched suits are sold as uncut fabric, usually a shirt piece, a dupatta and trouser fabric, for a tailor to make up to your measurements. They have no S/M/L size; you need access to a tailor. Stitched (ready-to-wear) suits come made up in standard sizes and can be worn on arrival. If you do not have a tailor nearby, choose stitched and check the size chart on the product page carefully.
Sizes vary between makers, so compare the chart's chest and length with a kameez you already own, measured flat and doubled. If you are between sizes, size up: a kameez can be taken in, but not let out.
